The Restaurant is a favourite meeting place for locals who enjoy the ambience and the best value lunch in the area. The A La Carte dinner menu offers a choice of 6-8 dishes on each course and imaginative vegetarian dishes. The seasonal dishes vary from day to day, using fresh local produce ingredients cooked to order in a simple English style.

 

In autumn & winter the emphasis is on local meat and game. Fish and shellfish in spring and summer. Inspired by demands for healthy, tasty eating, our sauces and dressings are light. Cream features in delicious desserts, especially our home made ice creams. Stilton cheeses from Colston Bassett, Cropwell Bishop & Long Clawson are the local speciality. Last orders 9.30pm or 10.30pm on Saturday.

 

The interesting wine list offers a choice of quality wines from around the world, sympathetically priced. The restaurant is open every day including Sunday evenings.

 

The fully licensed bar is open to non residents. Besides selling the usual alcoholic drinks, draught Boddingtons and Stella, we have wide selection of fruit juices and Belvoir fruit presses.
